What payment methods do you offer?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay. For Enterprise plans, we also support wire transfers on request.
Are there any automatic charges?
Yes, if you exceed your plan limits. When this happens, additional data is automatically added and charged accordingly. If you keep an eye on your data consumption and stay within your plan limits, there will be no automatic charges.
Are there any contracts or setup fees?
There are no contracts or setup fees. You can switch your plan or cancel your Ahrefs subscription at any time.
How can I switch my plan?
Upgrade or downgrade your account anytime from your Account Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades and cancellations become effective at the end of your current billing period.
Can I purchase only one tool?
No, we don’t offer tools separately. Ahrefs plans include access to all our tools.
How can I cancel my plan?
Cancel your plan anytime from your Account Settings. When you cancel, you’ll still be able to use your plan until the end of your subscription period. After your paid subscription ends, you’ll be switched to a free Ahrefs Webmaster Tools plan with free limited access to Site Explorer & Site Audit.

How do you charge for additional data and credits?
Pay-as-you-go is the default payment option. You’ll be automatically charged for additional data when consumption exceeds your plan’s limits. If you’re on an annual plan, you can also choose to prepay for additional data at a discounted rate.
Is unused additional data carried over to the next month?
No. Additional data is not accumulative and any unused additional reports, credits etc., will not be carried over to the next month.
What is your refund policy?
For monthly subscriptions, you have 48 hours after the transaction to request a refund. We reserve the right to decline requests if there has been active usage of your account within this time.
